Where is Wales?
Wales is in the western part of the UK, next to England. It has a long coastline, green valleys, and big mountains, like Snowdon—the highest mountain in Wales! People in Wales speak both English and Welsh, and the Welsh flag has a red dragon, which is a symbol of strength and bravery.

The Flag of Wales
The flag of Wales is one of the most striking flags in the world! It has:
- A red dragon (called “Y Ddraig Goch” in Welsh)
- A white and green background, which comes from an old royal badge of the Tudor family
The red dragon has been a symbol of Wales for centuries, and some believe it dates back to Roman times! The flag represents the strength and courage of the Welsh people.

National Emblems of Wales 🌼🌿
Wales has two special national symbols:
- The Daffodil 🌼 – This bright yellow flower is worn on St David’s Day (March 1st) and represents Wales all over the world.
