Course School Information

Children should not arrive at school before 8.50am unless they are attending Breakfast Club.

Parents and carers dropping off or collecting children by car must not enter the school gates or park within the designated zigzag markings. These restrictions are in place to protect children, parents and other pedestrians.

Children bringing bicycles or scooters to school must dismount before entering the school grounds. Bicycles and scooters should be stored in the designated cycle shelter.

Children should go directly to their classrooms when the school doors open at 8.50am. Pupils should not congregate in the playground.

During wet, icy or extremely cold weather, arrangements will be made for children to enter the school building safely.

Breakfast club is open before school from 8.10am and provides pupils with breakfast, which includes a variety of items, such as: Brown Toast, Jam, Fruit Juice, a selection of cereal, Sugar Free Jam and Cream Cheese and Fresh Fruit. Breakfast Club is free but a form must be completed before your child can attend. 

Application forms to attend FREE breakfast club are on the school website. Please allow 24 hours for processing. There will be no member of staff to supervise the children before 8.50am. Children enter school at 8.50am and are supervised by staff in the building. Children are greeted at all doors!

All children are required to play outside during breaks and dinnertime. Please ensure that your child has a coat or jacket so that he/she will be comfortable whatever the weather. In addition, during sunny weather we ask that pupils bring sun hats to be worn whilst pupils are outside.

Pupils arriving after the school start time should enter through the main entrance and report to the school office.

All late arrivals are recorded and monitored. Parents and carers will be contacted where persistent lateness becomes a concern.

Parents using cars to drop off / collect children are asked not to enter school gates or park anywhere within the zig zag area because of the danger to other children. / Adults. Scooters / Bicycles can be stored in the cycle shelter, permission from Headteacher must be provided. Cycle is not permitted on the school site, dismount on entry to the premises..
