EQUITY GRANT (PDG) 2026 - 2027 OVERVIEW

The total number of pupils on school roll for September 2026 is 240. The school’s FSM population is under 25% (>11%). The total allocation of Equity PDG to this school for April 2026 to March 2027 is £41400.

The school undertakes the following activities in order to support pupils facing the challenges of poverty and deprivation:

To fund a Teaching Assistant within Early Years to support eFSM / vulnerable learners aged 3-5 - Intervention (incl Tackling the Tale)
Provide good support and challenge
To fund a Teaching Assistant within Progression Step 1, 2 and 3 to support Learning and Assessment of Literacy and Numeracy Skills and Reading Intervention for vulnerable groups. Including the provision of Thrive and support groups for all children

The school’s Equity and Standards Grant Plans are regularly scrutinised by the Governing Body, supported by advice and monitored by the Local Authority.
