Complaints
The Governing Body of Abercarn Primary School take all complaints very seriously as we are committed to providing high-quality education. We aim to make the school’s complaints procedure easy to follow with three easy steps.
Please see the class teacher in the very first instance
Stage A – Informal Stage
If there is a complaint about an issue connected to school parents should contact the Class Teacher in the first instance as the vast majority of complaints are resolved at this stage.
Stage B – Formal stage
Issues that are not resolved at this point need to be referred to the Headteacher. At this stage an appointment will need to be made on request. The complaint will then be discussed and thoroughly investigated before a response is provided.
Stage C – School Complaints Committee
If you are unhappy with the investigation or for any issues that remain unresolved you must write to the Chair of Governors who will convene the Complaints Committee of the Governing Body to investigate your complaint. This stage is final.
