WELCOME BACK

Welcome back! I hope everyone had a lovely break! It’s a busy summer term with National Tests, Summer BBQ, Sports Days etc. I hope everyone is feeling refreshed and ready for the term ahead!

ATTENDANCE

Well done to nearly 125 children who received certificates on the last day of term for excellent attendance! Parent raffle tickets were also sent home on the last day! Nursery certificates and raffle tickets will be home today or tomorrow! Well done to parents too! Our attendance for the year is nearly 96%.

CLUBS

After school clubs will continue as they were before Easter holidays!

DIARY OF EVENTS and PARENT OVERVIEW

Please find attached the Diary of Events for the Summer Term. There are important dates to note in your diaries! A Parent Overview of the topics and learning taking place over the Summer term will be sent home in the next couple of weeks!

SUMMER PE / GAMES

Please ensure appropriate kit is in school for PE / Games to take place outside.

Year 5 and Year 6 will have athletics outside on a Thursday and Friday afternoon.

NATIONAL TESTS

National Tests for Year 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 will be from Wednesday 3rd May 2017 to Tuesday 9th May 2017. These are National Tests undertaken at every school in Wales. It is essential that your child is in school every day and on time. No holidays will be authorised.

SAINSBURY VOUCHERS (25th January to 30th June 2017)

We are collecting Sainsbury Active Kids Vouchers. Please send in any vouchers. Your support is greatly appreciated!
