PARENT EVENING

Our Spring Term Parent Evenings are today and Wednesday 6th March 2019.

ST DAVID’S DAY – MONDAY 4TH & TUESDAY 5TH MARCH

We would like the children to dress up for both days if possible, as they will be filmed in the TV studio on Tuesday.

WORLD BOOK DAY – THURSDAY 7TH MARCH

Children are welcome to dress as their favourite book character if they wish. There is no pressure if they would prefer not to dress up.

FAIR TRADE FRIDAY

It is Fair Trade Friday on Friday 8th March 2019. Children will be taking part in Fair Trade activities and workshops throughout the day!

NEW CASHLESS DINNER SYSTEM

Please make sure that you have set yourself up on the new dinner system ready for it going live on Monday 18th March. Please consider using the auto top-up function to save you and us time and effort. Minimum top-up amount is £10; please note though that any credit added will remain with your child for the duration of their time at our school. Please send cash up until this date as we do not have access to the system until 18th March, try to only pay for dinners that will be taken before 18th March as we can’t give credit after this date.

HELPDESK

If you have any difficulties with any of our online hubs (Abacus, Purple Mash, GSuite, Classroom Monitor, HWB, Pupil Rewards) please go to our school help desk website (helpdesk.abercarnprimary.com) and create a ticket – someone will respond to your query as soon as possible.

OPEN DAY

Our Open Day is on Thursday 14th March 2019. There are still some spaces left. Please call the office to reserve a place.

SNACK MONEY

Please make sure that your child has their snack money enveloped separately to dinner money and given to them to take into class (other than reception who put all monies in the black box). If you submit snack and dinner money together then the money is unlikely to make it to the class in time for Monday break.
