LATENESS & ABSENCE
We are having an increasing proportion of children who are turning up late for school on a regular basis. This is disruptive for the children, the class, the office and the school at large. Please make an effort to have your child here on time. Also, if your child is absent from school then please let us know the reason why, otherwise your child will be given an unauthorised absence on the register. These marks are monitored very closely by our education welfare officer.
This week is Menu 3
Please try and use the following phrase:
Sut wyt ti? How are you?
Dw i'n ... (hapus, drist, wedi blino) I am… (happy, sad, tired)
It is important for children to attend school regularly. We will be chasing parents if pupils have attendance of below 95% and will be contacting the Education Welfare Officer if pupils are not punctual and attendance drops below 90%. Our attendance target for this year is 95% - Attendance forms part of the categorisation criteria of schools – Please help us to achieve well!
