Our annual Macmillan Coffee / Tea and cake afternoon will be on Monday 1st October 2018. Please join us for a drink and cake to raise funds for Macmillan from 2.40pm.  Last year was a great success, so come early when collecting your child and come in and have tea/coffee and cake, bring Grandparents and friends, everyone welcome, help us raise lots of money.  Cakes will be sold to the pupils in the morning so send in 30p on Monday morning for your child to have a cake.

All parents are requested to close the school gate when entering and exiting the premises. Please ensure the gates are closed behind you at all times. Many Thanks

Children will be taking part in an Expressive Arts theme week starting today! It will finish with a finale on Thursday 4th October 2018 at 2pm. You will receive invitations and further details shortly.

If your child is absent, please use the absence line (Press 1 from the menu given). We will pick up your message. An increasing number of parents are wanting to speak to someone in the office to report an absence. The office is extremely busy especially at the start of the school day! Reporting absences using the absence line will help greatly!

Don’t forget our Breakfast Club runs daily from 8.10am. Children are provided with a healthy breakfast and lots of games are available. This also helps with children being in school on time!

Club letters were sent home last week and all clubs start next week except KS2 football which starts this week.   To summarise, we will be holding reserve lists and will try to ensure all pupils who wish to take part do so at some point. Consent must be given for clubs and pupils must be collected unless permission is given for Year 5 and Year 6 pupils to walk.  You will be informed by text if your child has a place or not.  If your child does not attend regularly their place will be given to a person on the reserve list.
