WELCOME BACK

Welcome back! I hope everyone had a lovely Easter Break! This term is extremely busy with lots going on! A Diary of events will be sent home shortly and will be available on our website and Social Media.

NSPCC SPONSORSHIP

Thank you for the NSPCC Sponsorship money… we raised a staggering £1692 – WOW. Thank you so much.

PARENT OVERVIEWS

Parent Overviews for the Summer Term will be sent home in the next couple of weeks. Parent overviews will outline what your child will be learning so you can support at home!

SCHOOL MEALS

School meals are now £2.00 per meal.

NATIONAL TESTS

National Tests start on Tuesday 2nd May 2018 for Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5, Year 6,. Tests take palce until Wednesday 9th May 2018. Please ensure children attend school during this period. No holidays will be authorised during this period.

IMPORTANT – TEXT SYSTEM AND NEW APP

Over the next few weeks before and after Easter we will be phasing out our current Text System and it will be replaced by a School App suitable for both Android and Apple devices (Tablets and phones).  The App will enable you to receive notifications (e.g. messages) and it will also contain school documents and newsletters.  Anyone in the family can have the App so we will not be restricted to only one person like we are now with the text system.  You will also be able to send secure absence notifications to the school as well as many other useful things.  You will need to download the App when you receive the guidance letter from us.  We will be rolling out the App two classes at a time, it will be essential for you, and anyone else in the family who requires notifications, to download the App.  Please make everyone aware in your family.  It will be important to follow the instructions carefully and enable notifications during set up.
