NSPCC

The NSPCC are in school on Wednesday 14th March 2018 from 2.30pm – 3.30pm and will be running a PARENT WORKSHOP to discuss how to keep you child safe online etc. PLEASE JOIN US IF YOU CAN


ABSENCE MESSAGES

Please leave absence messages on the answering machine rather than speak to the office. Many Thanks


ST DAVIDS DAY

St David’s Day celebrations will take place on Wednesday 7th 2018. Children can wear traditional Welsh costumes / rugby shirts etc to school. Photographs will be sent to the Argus for the St David’s Day Supplement.

 

WORLD BOOK DAY

World Book Day celebrations will take palce on Thursday 8th March 2018. Children can wear a costume of their favourite character and if you wish bring in a book to donate. We do not expect costumes to be bought!


OPEN DAY

Our Open day for the Spring Term is on Thursday 29th March 2018 – Foundation Phase at 9.30 and Key Stage 2 at 2.30. Please telephone the school office to reserve a place – limited spaces due to the size of classrooms. We will hold a reserve list too! 

IF YOU ARE ATTENDING PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUNGER SIBLINGS TO THE EVENT –  MANY THANKS


DINNER MENU

There may be variations to the menu owing to the snow days and food needing to be used up!

 

There is a special St David’s Day menu tomorrow (attached)

 

WELSH PHRASE

Please try and use the following phrase:

Sut mae'r tywydd heddiw? - What is the weather like today?

Mae hi'n... - It is...

 

BE ON TIME

School starts at 9am. Doors open at 8.50am. Please ensure children are in school between 8.50am and 9am. The Education Welfare Officer will be patrolling school and will challenge parents of pupils who are late. Please be on time! If children are continually late, please expect to hear from us!
