You might find it useful to know that Abercarn Primary runs a Twitter feed. We use the service to keep parents, pupils and the School community informed about events, latest news stories, sporting announcements and, occasionally, important updates on issues such as school closure due to bad weather.
Our ‘tweets’ alert you to the fact that pertinent information has been posted on the School website. You will often be given a link that will allow you to go directly to the School website to find out more on that subject if you wish.

People can receive ‘tweets’ via their mobile phone or by visiting their homepage on the Twitter website. Twitter is an international information network, but you select and are in control of those from whom you wish to receive ‘tweets’ - i.e. you can receive information tweets from Abercarn Primary alone, if that is what you choose to do.

Once you have set up your Homepage you will find an option ‘Who to Follow’ - this is normally found in the black bar at the top of the Homepage. Please type in @AbercarnPrimary and @AbercarnPS_MrG
