HUMANITIES THEME WEEK

This week is our Humanities Theme Week (RE, History and Geography). All classes will be participating in a range of tasks throughout the week. Their work will be posted on the school website when completed!


ABSENT CALLS

Please be aware that if you do not contact us by 9.30 am reporting an absence, we will be making contact with parents of KS2 pupils to find out where your child is.

 

SCHOOL OPENS

School opens at 8.50am in order to start at 9.00am. We expect all children to arrive between 8.50am and 9.00am – we do not open the doors until 8.50am even if it is raining. Please also remember not to play ball games on the yard before school or after school.


SAFE CYCLING

Well done to the children in Year 6 for completing safe cycling last week!

PARKING AND ROAD SAFETY

The School council and Eco Committee have produced a lovely video urging road users to slow down and park safely at our school!

REMINDER: PARENT EVENINGS

Our next Parent Evenings are on Monday 12th February 2018 and Wednesday 14th February 2018. You can now book appointments by logging into the parent evening system – no code required.

The booking system will close on Friday 2nd February 2018.

 

OPEN DAY

Our Open day for the Spring Term is on Thursday 29th March 2018 – Foundation Phase at 9.30 and Key Stage 2 at 2.30. Please telephone the school office to reserve a place – limited spaces due to the size of classrooms. We will hold a reserve list too!


DOGS

Please remember that no dogs are allowed on the premises.

I’m sure Class 4 parents and children would like to wish Mrs. Jones well as she is expecting her 2nd child in July.

BE ON TIME

School starts at 9am. Doors open at 8.50am. Please ensure children are in school between 8.50am and 9am. The Education Welfare Officer will be patrolling school and will challenge parents of pupils who are late. Please be on time! If children are continually late, please expect to hear from us!
